Pickleball is a low-impact sport that people of all ages and athletic abilities like.  The game is designed for limited freedom of movement on the court so you don’t have to worry about running from one side of the court to the other.  Because of the sport’s distinct layout and regulations, it’s no surprise pickleball is the fastest-growing game in the country.

     What is pickleball?

     Pickleball is a sport that combines the properties of several other sports: tennis, badminton, and table tennis.  It is played on a hard surface the size of a badminton court.

     The lines of the court resemble those of a tennis court.  Uses rackets that are larger than a table tennis racket but smaller than a tennis racket.  They usually weigh between 6 and 8 grams and can be made from a variety of materials.

     Pickleball Equipment

     Pickleball doesn’t need a lot of gear.  All it takes is a paddle or track, net, paddle, and ball. Pickleball courts are 6 feet wide by 12 feet long, which means roughly four courts can fit in the same space as a standard tennis court.

  •      Pickleball Shovels – Pickleball shovels and the companies that make them have grown ten-fold over the past two decades.  The growing popularity of the sport has led to an increase in production, which has led to the introduction of new technologies and dynamic production techniques.
  •      Pickleball Nets – A pickleball net is another important piece of pickleball equipment that a pickleball player cannot live without.  Pickleball uses a 20 foot wide and 36-inch high net at the ends and 34 inches in the middle to divide the field in half.
  •      Pickleball Court – A pickleball court is about one-third the size of a normal tennis court and is the size of a badminton court (20 feet by 44 feet).  A net divides the field, which hangs 36 inches high at each end.  On either side of the net is a 7-foot area (marked with a line on the court) called the no-volley zone.  The play area of ​​the course (20 feet x 15 feet) is divided into two equal rectangles (10 feet x 15 feet) next to each other.
